Infortrend HA Cluster is an enterprise-grade, high-availability and disaster-recovery storage solution designed for mission-critical workloads requiring zero data loss and near-zero downtime.

It forms a cross-site HA cluster by connecting two storage systems in physically separate locations. This architecture provides higher availability than single storage unit deployments, ensuring uninterrupted 24/7 operations even if one site becomes unavailable.

• Site Connectivity: Storage systems can be connected via Fibre Channel (FC) or IP, providing flexible deployment options.
• Simplified Management: Centralized GUI management via EonOne for GS, reducing operational complexity.

How It Works

To build a resilient cross-site storage cluster, Infortrend HA Cluster leverages two EonStor GS storage systems with the following key technologies:

• Synchronous Remote Replication: All data is mirrored in real time across both storage systems, ensuring zero data loss.
• Automatic Failover: If one site fails, the surviving site automatically takes over workloads, maintaining uninterrupted data access. Once the failed system is recovered, it resumes service through automatic failover without manual switching.
• Witness Server: A witness server monitors the status of both storage systems, ensuring a seamless automatic failover and failback.
